I ordered my wedding cupcakes and a gluten free wedding cake from Jenn's Java. Absolutely amazing! My guests were raving about the cupcakes all night. And as for my cake--forget the fact that it was gluten free-- it was the best cake I ever had. Aside from being a great place to order for special events, Jenn's is a great place to go every day for drinks, food, and a great place to hang out with friends.
I have visited Jenn's Java several times. I love the seasonal beverages, the prices of these beverages, and the adorably decorated cookies. I like to browse the fun holiday ornaments and gifts while I am there. That being said I did recently eat a muffin that was not up to the standards I am used to seeing at Jenn's, it was doughy and the flavor was not tasty. I will continue to visit Jenn's when I visit good old Manitowoc and hope they continue to have a successful business.
I have been going to this coffee shop for years now, and have always had a pleasant experience. They have a huge list of drinks/desserts to choose from, and if you don't know quite what you want they are always willing to make a "surprise," which they make sure you like before charging you for it. The desserts and food are homemade, and will definitely satisfy your cravings! In addition, there are a lot of homemade craft good to choose from. The people who work there not only treat you with respect, but always try to have a good time. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I love Jenn's Java. My high school children have gone to Jenn's for a long time and without a lot of cash to spend. They have always been welcomed and always enjoyed time with friends and with the very nice and friendly folks that run the business. I have ordered desserts from there and they have always exceeded my expectations. The cookie dough brownies and cream cheese brownies are special treats. If you are looking for a comfortable place to spend time with one friend or several for lunch, conversation or a cup of coffee, you will enjoy Jenn's Java.
Needed somewhere to wait for the ferry and stumbled on this place. Loved the bagel sandwiches and homemade soup, incredible array of desserts, great coffee, and big plush couches, all for incredibly cheap. Can't think of a better place anywhere to pass a few hours.
