The restaurant is amazingly fast and good quality breakfast.
Fish was a pile of glistening breading grease with a paper thin piece of cod that still had the gray slimy stuff on. What's worse -- when I complained, they would not replace my food with something else, stating "well, you ordered it fried". I was not about to buy another meal out of principle, so watched while others ate and left hungry.. They did not charge me for my beverage.(Whoopee) When I wrote a letter to the manager (I have never written to any restaurant before) I got no written response or even a phone call. Obviously the Oakwood needs cooking and customer service training. I normally love fish fries, so checked around, The fish fries downtown are the ones recommended by locals.
Famous for their thick sliced bacon and melt in your mouth pancakes, this is one of our favorite places to go for breakfast. Reasonable prices and very friendly wait staff.
