Was a great experience. Had a wonderful waitress, Emily. She really breezed through the specials & is a very personable person & very attentive. Food was very good, especially the beer cheese soup, which I usually take. I had broiled shrimp & the other 3 in our party had schnitzle. All meals were very good. This is the fourth time we have been here. My husband had the ribs once & they are awesome. Bartender made very good Old Fashioned's. Eddie B is always there to oversee things & see that you enjoy your visit.

I've eaten at the White Spruce a few times over the years and have always been satisfied with the food and service. This last visit was not pleasant - there are apparently new owners so maybe that is the culprit? My son and I stopped in to get a light meal - looking at the menu was a bit of a shock, the prices were *much* higher than the last time I was at the White Spruce. Granted, it has been a few years, but seriously? We decided to just split an appetizer and got the cheesy garlic / tomato bread - we were very disappointed. Soggy bread topped with some tasteless chopped tomatoes and mediocre cheese served with some so-so (canned?) marinara. I won't be going back.

First time for us at Eddie Bs White Spruce Inn, We really enjoyed ourselves. The service, food, drinks were wonderful, and came with a great view. We will definitely be back.

The Famous Ribs Are Back.... WHAT A JOKE. The new owner and staff are lying to people about having the Famous White Spruce Ribs... I know the Hollnagel family personally and know that this is a lie. The Hollnagel's are good people and the only ones that know the real recipe. The new owner Eddie B did try to get the Hollnagel's son to give him the rib recipe, but was not willing to purchase it. So he found an old cook that had worked for the Hollnagel family that knew how to make their Rub, but not the rib recipe. He uses a electric smoker. Not real wood. Sir if you wanna live off someone else's name then show them the proper respect. I Did go in an try the super over prices crap he is trying to pass off as the Famous White Spruce Ribs. I will never go back. I truly hope everyone stays away and tries one of the other fine restaurants in the area.
