The food was Scrumptious!!! my Filet Mignon was fantastic and the service was Superb oh, I just loved it makes me wanna celebrate our birthdays there all the time. Keep up the good service.

Normally I do not give reviews for a first time visit, however since there are no others I thought I would. The staff was accomidating and super friendly, anyone and everyone we dealt with was exceptionally great. We made reservations for an anniversary dinner, they knew about our special date and only helped to add another great memory to this day. Food was great, we had the short rib tacos, Oysters, for starters, a terrific mixed green salad with house made salad dressing that rival the best I've ever had, and main course had the twin Broiled Lobster tails and bone in Ribeye, cooked to perfection, true talent on the grill! Sides of popovers, Brussels sprouts and asparagus. The quality of the ingredients shows, everything was perfect. That being said a couple things missed it for me, The Oysters were Bluepoint Oysters which they were very good for Bluepoint standards, I was hoping for something a little different. The Brussel sprouts were sauteed, as they said they were and were well cooked, but I guess we prefer more of a roasted Brussel sprout. Finally I didn't really care for the bourbon maple butter for the popovers (which themselves were excellent), I guess I prefer honey butter with mine, again I wouldn't fault them for that their butter, flavor wise makes more sense, mentioned this to our waitress and the kitchen was quick to accomidate us with some honey butter they made special for us! Beyond my expectations! Ben (manager I believe) was great and checked up on us a couple times (unobtrusive and polite) to ensure we enjoyed everything and our waitress Tiffany did and excellent job taking care of us. To be honest I was a little scared of the choice of eating at the resort's steak house... I've had my fair share of marginal to ok food at many other resorts and hotels but the overall quality of the restaurant both food and staff quickly hushed any chance of thinking this was your average resort/hotel Steakhouse. Overall Double Cut stands with the best of the best of any steak and seafood restaurant we have been to. Already thinking of excuses to eat here every night of our stay!
