Decent place to grab a drink.
The best Ladies Night in the Valley!
Speakeasy has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and is a fun, high energy place to start, end or spend your entire night. Really like their bottle service and reserving the upper level option, it really makes you feel like you're the VIP of the evening. It gives the place a NY or Vegas feel without spending that amount of cash. Whenever I'm out, I'm at Speaks. Their guy bartenders are very nice and easy on the eyes too.... (They have a fabulous Wednesday night martini special for $3, that's crazy but fun if you don't have to be anywhere early on Thursday morning!) This is a great place to go whether your from the area or just visiting.......
"Speaks" is the perfect place for anyone to see and be seen. This is where the trendy, hot crowd goes, and on any given weekend night, you def want to make an appearance to make sure you don't miss out. I don't know what "overrated" is talking about because I've had nothing but great experiences at Speakeasy. Even before the remodel they were staffed with some of the best bartenders in the area - one of the only bars that doesn't leave you thirsty on a Friday or Saturday night. After the remodel? It's certainly a destination point for your night out on the town. And it's not a dance club so of course there's no dance floor (dur), but you will certainly find the crowd amped up and dancing around right up til close. Considering they're usually packed, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thinks this is the place to be. :)
This is by far the best Downtown Appleton has to offer. I moved to Appleton from Milwaukee, I have been to several bars here and nothing as unique as this place. Beautiful bartenders, great music and a cosmopolitan feeling that is not offered anywhere else in the 920 area code. This is a definite night time destination ... Great Drink Specials on Wednesday and Thursday as well ..
