This place is amazing. The food is good, especially the fried macaroni (its my favorite). Its a great place for dining in but also converts into a fantastic night life - something that Kitsap County lacks of.

If I wanted to eat in the gheto, I would go to Detroit... Violence is rampant here in the evening hours. Its really nothing but a whole that needs to be filled in...

I blew it by buying the $40 for $20 groupon gift card. I bought it before I saw the website. It seems confused. Is it a bistro? Sports bar? Night club? Family restaurant? When we walked in, I couldn't figure it out. We didn't sit on the patio furniture with tablecloths and cloth napkins that were, for some awkward reason, on the dance floor. We sat at some high stools by a high bar sort of thingy in the middle of the room. We sat for quite a while without a greeting or menus. When I saw the bartender walking with menus, I assumed he was going to bring them to us, but instead, he was putting them away. At least then I learned where I could go to get them myself. After getting settled and after my wife decided to use the restroom and after she came back and after we visited some more, I finally decided to go grab some menus. After I did, the waiter said he was just about to do that.I thought that over 10 minutes during a mid-week lunch was plenty of time. The menu was pretty run of the mill. But the more I thought about the front of the house, the more apprehensive I became about the kitchen. We both got a creepy vibe from the place so we decided to give the gift certificate to an older couple who already got their food and leave. I was much happier throwing $20 away than getting something for it from there. It may possibly be for someone but, as a "bistro," it sure wasn't for us.
