Hardy's Market

I have mixed emotions about Hardy's Market. Some days the customer service is on point. They are attentive and welcoming but more times I have gone in and received attitude and felt disrespected and truly didn't feel welcomed to the point I will no longer shop there. Christmas I had money stolen from my wallet and the suspect went to Hardy's and spent money they hadn't had earlier. I was told to talk to owner the next day and to this day he hasn't responded. I am a single mother of 3 teenage children and have been sick the last couple of months so I can't work and the money I do have is no where enough to pay the bills. So that money may not have meant anything to them but to me and my kids it was Christmas dinner and a day away from all the stress. The only state assistance I get is food stamps and when I would shop at Hardy's they would tax all the items purchased. Even though it is a federal law you can not tax government funded food stamps. Looked it up and showed them. I still was and continued to be taxed everytime.

Starts out with Randy saying howdy neighbor and gets better from there. The place is eclectic but always has that one thing you need to get a recipe finished, like one of just about everything only very well thought out. The deli is amazing and the reason the staff is so friendly is this is a family affair. Having drive through whatever is really cool and he has a heart as big as the scenery. He gives away way more than his share for holidays etc and he has a special place for veterans. I would say this family and BOTH of their stores are one of the thousand reasons we all live out here, don't tell anyone but the weather here is spectacular, unlike that city to the east!

Excellent biscuits and gravy with lots of flavor, not the typical wall paper paste you get elsewhere. The breakfast burritos are made fresh, taste great and are huge, an excellent value. Their sandwiches are really good as well. Not at all skimpy on the ingredients and made to your specs. Although the food is excellent, what really keeps me coming back is the staff. The girls that work there in the morning are all really friendly, truly nice people.

Little story: I couldn't sleep one night, but when i drove off to catch the sunrise Hardy's Market was the ONLY coffee stand i could find open. When they didn't have the flavor i asked for it was taken care of for me. I didn't catch the name of the guy working there, but he defiantly brightened my mood. Thank you! Tip: Go here.
