Forget the Carl's Jr across the freeway from Zip's. Zip's wasn't afraid to make delicious cheeseburgers and fries for this family of travelers at 9 am instead of the 10:30 "lunch" menu time at the chain burger places. The restaurant looks like it was built in the car hop days but has since received a remodel on the inside...in maybe 1985. I enjoyed the well-worn feel of the place. The menu also included the usual wide range of choices from your typical small burger places which included deep fried seafood. Prices were in the same range as their competitors. I hope to eat at this place again when traveling.

2nd time I've been to this Zips and the service is sloooowww. I spent 22 minutes in the drive thru, yes I had time to count the minutes. With only 1 car in the parking lot and 1 car in front of me, I can't imagine why it took 22 minutes to fill an order for 1 person. I won't be back.

Okay but room for improvement. Restrooms were clean. Dining tables were notably dirty from sloppy customers but not attended to by employees. We visited at 4PM, a slow part of the day with two cars at the drive up, and two other patrons inside beside us. Then a large group came in and the manager and staff seemed a bit overwhelmed with the orders. The employee that filled my to-go order shorted the bag one order of fries. I discovered that at my car before leaving, and within minutes I returned to get my fries. The same employee (not 5 mins gone bye) said he just started his shift, didn't remember serving me bla, bla, bla so I repeated the order as if talking to a 10 year old, " order number 270: two super burger combinations and one regular hamburger, that means two medium drinks and two large fries, not one large fry. Correct? So just give me the fries! $3.49 extra to make a $2.99 "super burger" a combo; a thin sliver of tomato and flecks of lettuce. The Zips on Gov't Way in Coeur D'Alene, ID has this place beat!

This is hands down the WORST Zipps on the face of the planet! It's very sad because I love Zips and unfortunately I have to drive another 70 miles to get to a worthy Zips in Spokane!!

They didn't even care what you say you want on your food it came the same no Mayer what you said. Cheap ingredients. Its about 35 degrees inside. No body seems to want or at liest fake like there happy here. I can say I hat Mac Donald's but they have better food and happier people with cleaner bathrooms.
