My wife and I enjoy going there for date nights. Danny (the owner) knows us by name so that is always a special touch. Depending on the evening, you can see everything from local up and coming musicians to nationally recognized performers. Great place to bring an out of town guest - chances are they have not experienced anything like Boxley's Place.
Went some months ago for the jazz which was awesome. Was later on a weekday as I recall and place was empty.So service should have been better. Food not memorable. But came for the music so I give this 4 stars. Otherwise it might get 3..
Not good. the "new chef and menu" a flop.. Not much sounded appealing..but we were there. Will not return after years of local enjoyment. Fish n chips. .horribly over cooked. Fries luke warm.. need to change the fryer oil.. the fish was like frozen fish sticks.. the chicken fett. nasty thick. huge chunk ingredients prepared with zero finess.. the the third person had the bbq chicken burger. cold fries.. and just not a good experience.Brought the fettt home and threw out.. will not return. ServiceA 2.. Food a zero.. music awesome! Will not return until a better chef with a menu that is local ingredients and a light hand with some actual menu revisions.. Not good. .sorry North Bend. we are very bummed!
Went with friends Friday night. We had a great time. The food, service and music was fantastic! Place cleared out after the first set and never filled up again ??? You all missed out on some good music. The only critical thing I could say was, the décor around the stage could be improved. We will return!
My Wife and I came here last year not knowing what to expect and couldnt be happier with what we found. The food was great and not typical of what you find at a normal restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the music was relaxing. We went before I deployed last year, and we are going back today 1 year later and are excited as ever. A well deserved 5 stars
