We eat frequently at Ayutla's Restaurant. Their food is delicious and the owners are from Ayutla, Jalisco, Mexico. The service is always friendly and prompt. For us, it is easily the best all around food in town, and worth the stop.

I've eaten in many Mexican restaurants in my almost 70 years, and have eaten at Ayutla's three or four dozen times over the last seven years. Ayutla's is one of the best. Ayutla's provides cheerful, competent service and excellent food. I have had several dishes a dozen times or more and they were consistently good. Ayutla's would be successful anywhere ... it just happens to be located in Goldendale.

You don't get much for what you pay for. Refried beans were more like soup. Chilli Verde Monday's special was barley enough to fill three tortillas. Go to McDonald's instead up the street.

It was nice, clean. Food was delicious. Service was also good Recommend it.

Only in a town like Goldendale could this place even survive. Those of you who rave about must not have eaten anywhere outside of this town. High prices, mediocre food, sad portions. Service is ok half of the time, pathetic the other half. Order the most expensive thing on the menu(fajitas) and you might have enough meat to barely lay down a thin line of it in half of your tortillas. I still eat there monthly because I am lazy and there is literally nothing else to choose from. Anyone with a clue who wants to open a decent Mexican restaurant in this town could put this place out of business in no time. Someone please do.
