Delicious and the service was great!
Terracotta Red is an outstanding place for the best traditional Asian dishes created! We prefer to sit where we can watch the Chef perform his magic! The Drunken Chicken and Pineapple-Prawn Fried Rice are always a favorite! We have never been disappointed when dining here. It is the best Asian restaurant in Snohomish County!
I had the duck with cherry/rhubarb, yams, and greens- which was very very nice, though at $26 they aren't giving it away. I followed that with the banana bread pudding, which was also very nice- better than it might sound- and at $6 was well-priced. I dined in the bar, availability of which was fortuitous because the one main room was extremely loud- turn around and walk away loud. The bar is minimal and the bartender didn't know how to make well-known classics but seemed not to know that she didn't know. Again, they aren't giving the drinks away. I'd go back for the food, but I wouldn't rush back.
For one: Stop ordering the Duck, your just going to disappoint yourselves with the price. Anything else is well worth the money! There food is fantastic!!! Don't let the 4.0 reviews fool you. Give it a try, i'm sure you'll be back again & again.
Spectacular food!!! Decor was blah. Ambience is lacking especially because it's one giant loud room. No quaint lit tables, just elbow to elbow almost. We felt bad for the server - it seemed like she was the only one there; handling way too many tables. Did I mention how loud it was? Probably your best bet is to order takeout. Mongolian beef was tasty but dripping with sauce; almost too sweet. Heaven and Earth was great. And the side of string beans was amazing - some sort of sauce on it and perfect tenderness/ crunchiness.
