There was a food review about White Rock in 7 Days a few years ago, and to sum it up in a sentence, "Best Pizza in Vermont". I totally agree. I'd be lying if I said I've had all the pizza in Vermont for a fair comparison, but I can't. I have sensitivities to gluten and dairy, which makes pizza.... difficult. Maggie has been able to accommodate my needs every time, and I never leave hungry, which is great since 3 out of 5 of the last pizza places I've been to, who advertised gluten free pies, didn't have any gluten free dough when I showed up to eat. Awesome. I guess I'll eat a salad while I watch my girlfriend eat. So, beyond the really good pizza that I can eat at White Rock, the front deck is a really good place to sit and eat it in the summer, overlooking the lake. It's a nice stop on a long motorcycle ride. Finally, the staff at White Rock are some of the most easy going people I've met. Going there for dinner is like meeting the rest of the family at mom's house for dinner (providing that you get along with your family).
The garlic luv pizza is my favorite pizza. The service is beyond excellent. I always have a great time when I go out to the White Rock!
This is just from my sister who ate there recently. She was charged 50.00 for a works pizza. Who charges 50$ for a pizza? We ate there several years ago and ordered a Pizza and it was terrible. the crust was burnt and the thing tasted terrible. we never when back. I can see why.
Awesome place.. eat there regularly!! Love the pizza, the servers and the cooks! They rock!!
The place is great. It's quaint, friendly and has good food at a reasonable price. The owner was the server and was just as friendly as if we had known her all our life. We will be back!
