Perhaps the most tantalizing "real food" menu around. Chef Matt serves up dishes that are fresh, delicious, and creative. And don't miss the Taqueria Night menu at the end of the week. It's as good as everything else at this place.
One of the best atmospheres of a cafe I've been to in the States. And amazing food to match! This is a must if you are in the area and looking for a casual bite. Wish their takeout was a little faster, but, hey...it was worth it!
I'm a local and it's a place I go often. There is a mixture of choices and something for everyone. Whenever I have friends visiting we make a stop for breakfast or lunch.
3 Squares catered our wedding this summer at the Monitor Barn in Richmond. They were the first and only caterer that we met with - we knew after sitting down to talk with them that they could achieve our vision of casual (for a wedding) food at a price that we could afford. We were 100% satisfied by our experience and in fact kind of blown away by the level of professionalism exhibited by their staff the day of the wedding. The food was amazing, everyone raved about it (P.S - Short-rib nachos. Do it.) and I just really felt like they had everything fully under control. When you show up at your own wedding, having DIYed almost all aspects of the experience (with the exception of caterer, bar & photog), you are really just crossing your fingers that everything comes together. Thankfully for us everything worked out wonderfully, in no small part due to 3 Square's' part of our day. My only regret is not having eaten more. Thank you Matt, Danelle, Sophia and the rest of the 3 squares team!
Three Squares is a great place to go! I have never been disappointed, and they have the best breakfast around! My cousins from Maine always love going there when they come to visit, and they had the priviledge of having dinner there during Restaurant Week, and the food was to die for! Staff is always courteous and helpful. Vergennes is fortunate to have such a wonderful eatery!
