What an incredible experience. Exceeded my expectations. Food presented beautifully. Our soup and salad were the perfect prelude to our entree. The most flavorful, tender filet mignon ever. Dessert was oh so worth it, be sure to experience the creme brulee, Our server went over the top to make sure we were taken care of. Thank you Suzi, this is definitely one of my top 3 best meals ever, your recommendations were spot on. Thank you once again for the delicious experience.

Great restaurant. They've been open for 8 years, and every time we have a wonderful experience. Chef Moorefield is very talented, the staff is friendly and warm and their wine and scotch lists are great. They have about 15 single malts and receive the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence every year. Bottles run from $22 to $100ish and about 15 are offered by the glass. I discovered some great Virginia wines that I didn't know existed. Thanks Bistro!
After reading about Bistro 1888 in a magazine, I had been wanting to go there for over a year. I was not disappointed! The food was fabulous. Presentation was beautiful. I recommend their yellow fin tuna for a starter, and you can't beat their rack of lamb anywhere! Large selection of wines, & single malt scotch, as well as a well stocked bar along with a knowledgable staff & bartender make the drinking as enjoyable as the food. Best dining experience I have had since moving here from a much larger city.
