The highest quality food in a casual setting. They care about the quality of their food and it shows. Food 5/5. A neighbor recommended this place to me 5 years ago. I was skeptical of veggie lasagna at a tiny place by the gas station, but UW was amazing and I've been hooked ever since. Everything is great and made in house. The pizzas are huge and loaded with great toppings. The sandwiches and calzones they added to the menu fairly recently are all stellar. Again, you know everything is made IN HOUSE and the quality shows. Service 5/5. Always prompt and friendly service. The manager gave us a free app once because he didn't think our large pizza was large enough (it barely fit in the box, not sure it could have been any larger).
Very exciting options here, we picked up a pie on the way out of Charlottesville. We picked the Buff Orpington, a great pie with spinach, bacon, two kinds of cheese, sriracha sauce, and about half a dozen hen eggs. We also had the beet salad. Overall the salad was great, but I was surprised at how mild the goat cheese was. If you like beets, you'll love the salad ,as we did, but be prepared for the mild flavor of the chevre. The eggs were fully cooked, while I prefer over medium, so make sure to ask if you don't want them fully cooked.
Although I swear it's a front for a drug joint, the pizza is GREAT!
