Vern was a great store owner. Great subs and good merchandise. This is no longer the same and I will not go there unless I need something that the Trading Post doesn't have.
This place is ridiculous..way over priced for low quality goods. Everything I have ordered has been awful. Trading post, just up the road is a lot better.
Food is inconsistent, one day they let you get what you want fried chicken wise, the next they make you get something else. Owner is deluded and does not care about you or your business. Better off going elsewhere.
Crossroads Store North Garden Virginia - I miss the former owner/manager Vern, he ran a great store. UNFORTUNATELY The store has gone DOWNHILL since new management took over. It is no longer a community hub for visitors with Virginia tourist products like it used to be. Products inventory in general is very poor with no restock of product shelves. Brewed Coffee service is really bad now...Coffee taste like brown water...CHEAP and WEAK. And, there is no Virginia coffee brewed. The sandwich counter used to be a great stop for lunch - NO LONGER - Subs and sandwiches are now the worst in the state of Virginia. I live in North Garden and will no longer patronize the store, I now go 2 miles further to The Trading Post.
I miss vern too... Although the service has increased it's still not the same
