Go for the shawarma and stay for the rice pudding. I've tried a lot of the dishes and they were all pleasant. In general I am not a fan of grape leaves but I do like them at Azars. The falafel is very good and I especially like the tzatziki in the gyros. As for the rice pudding, it is a treat. It is a served cold and topped with honey.

The food here was so good, the setting was nice, & staff friendly. It's nice having a small market inside for you to kill two birds with one stone. From the two visits I made, it wasn't packed (weekend lunch).

I went to Azar''s on Colley Ave today and had a most fantastic lunch. I had the Scallop Kabob platter and it was most awesome with amazing flavors!! The spices are wonderful and the platter was beautiful. I also had Peroni draft on special - 2 bucks. Cool. Being it was about 4 PM there were no waitresses - so you had to order at a counter and then wait and then get your food. I like having a waitress. But the food was awesome. I've added photos

Decided to check it out after internet search for stuffed olives. They didn't have any stuffed olives but plenty of other fresh olives and other groceries. Had the grilled eggplant wrap and it was awesome. Side of 2triangle Pitas and homemade hummus. Almost thought I was back in the middle east. 5 stars!

Huge healthy food selection with big portions. You will always have plenty to eat. It is counter service until 5pm. They usually cater to lunch rush. Call ahead for your order, you can skip the line usually. And a very big market actually, my wife and I always get our olives, cheese and bread and sometimes spices. Make sure to check it on your way out..!
