Sedona Taphouse
Reviews
The appetizer was about what you would expect at Applebee's, the "jumbo lump" crab cakes were neither jumbo nor lumpy and they were over-seasoned to the point that I could taste nothing else. Our server was mediocre. Water glasses went unfilled and she essentially disappeared when we were ready to leave. We waited and waited for her to show up. The beer selection is great, of course, and the atmosphere was acceptable. However, I'll find somewhere else to spend my money next time.
Food and beer were good, but the seating was not very comfortable. My server was amazing! As were the bartenders.
says they are open till midnight, its 8:20 and they are closed. thanks for wasting my time and my gas.
Sedona Taphouse is rapidly becoming a star in the Midlothian VA restaurant scene. When it first opened, it seemed like most people held their breath to see if a "cool" "upscale" beer joint could make it tucked back in the corner of the sleepy Westchester Commons. Now, if anyone's holding their breath it's because they're worried they might not get a table or a seat at the bar. Sedona Taphouse started out with minimal food choices going for a "tapas" style, but has wisely migrated to offering excellent full dinner menu choices on top of the still excellent small plate offerings. The beer is the initial draw, but the fantastic food, very friendly and helpful staff, and outdoor patio/music will be what brings you back. They have recently announced that they are opening another location in Charlottesville. Well, I guess we shouldn't be selfish, right?
This relative newcomer to the Midlothian VA restaurant scene has taken root and thrived. It has quickly risen to the status of the best craft beer venue in town (or in this case, village) and with the excellent additions to the food menu has established itself as a very credible restaurant ...and while it lasts, you can't beat the $5 Monday steak night.
