Reply to comment "running out of food"! Restaurants, grocery stores, etc., etc., are all running out of things due to the influx of people moving into tri-cities so suddenly. We weren't ready. Us "longtime locals" can't get anything anymore around here like we use to. I have "never" received a steak at any rest the way I like it cooked. I like medium. I get mooing or very well done everywhere. "Solution" --- eat it at home & order something else. By the way Ft.Lee - do you think you could add a "Dunkin Donut" to your growing food chain over there? After I retired, I didn't expect to continue to stand in line at 0700 to get my treat of coffee & donut in morn. Our DD runs out by 0900. I worked for & love & respect the military (thank you for serving), but you're cleaning us out - sorry but true. Yes, I'm now a 35yr Fed gov't retiree & as a civilian, trained many a military officer in the day. So nothing personal. Just poor planning (what's new?) Nuff ced! Happy holidays everybody!!!!! P.S. Not just Ft.Lee but we are in between 2 major highways with bus loads of people stopping to eat. Can't win!!!!!!!
Just came home from eating at Outback Steakhouse in Colonial Heights. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger medium well. I ordered a Ribeye and my grandson ordered the 24 oz Porterhouse Steak. The steaks were to be cooked Medium Rare and both came out Medium Well. The cook could not have read the order correctly. We had to wait a long time for the meal also. I don't believe we'll be returning any time soon.
I usually do not write reviews about Outback since my family and I frequent them so much. Although, there are a lot of mixed reviews prior to mine, I will have to say that the staff and food quality for this visit was truly top notch! If you want to replicate my experience just go and ask for Justin G. You will not regret it!

My over all experiences with outbacks have been favorable. What made this particular trip memorable was my excellent waitress Kathleen. Bright, attractive, personable motivated young lady. She was very attentive even after my multiple complaints about my tea. Tea aside this was a five star experience and highly recommended.
