Inexpensive, Fast, Good staff. Recommended!
Went to Baja bean this week with clients and had one of my favorite dishes. Mexican chorizo and chori pollo. They make it special for us when we ask and it is fantastic. I love places that are willing to adjust their menues for their clients!
The Baja Bean on the corner is pretty good, but it has lots of reviews due to it being the original "Bean" and massive number of students. Direct your attention here for just a sec. First, the Bean is local and their food is good. They're trying something reasonably original with mexican, the atmosphere is excellent, and you'll get your money's worth in food. They let employees come up with recipes that become monthly specials -- some of them very tasty -- and every visit I get a friendly face. But I must admit, while I like both locations, this specific Bean was the first one I went to, and the food here is a tad more consistent than the corner. And if you've never been, just remember, if a place with a customer loyalty program for Tequila (which I don't even like) isn't awesome enough for you... know this: it's called a GREEN CARD.
Located just north of Walmart on the opposite side of 29, this place has consistently pretty good food, much better than Guadalajara in my opinion. You can order take out if you like.
