we showed up with a group of 10, and had very quick, efficient, friendly service and remarkably great meals.

For the last five years my wife and I have taken a trip or two through the Salt Lake Valley, along the Wasatch Front and up to Tremonton, UT to enjoy a meal at J.C's Country Diner. Of course it is not the Ritz Carlton or any other such eating establishment, it is better in my opinion just due to the overall friendly atmosphere coupled with good food. It is a family owned business that is a second home for the folks of the Tremonton area where the staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door.

This place was good! Not mind-blowingly spectacular, but good! The people were very nice, and the Reuben sandwich I had was great! My husband's taco salad could have been a little bigger for what we paid, but our fries and shake were really good too. Slightly more expensive than fast food, but we like to support ''mom and pops'' instead of national chains. Overall, we liked it and would stop by again!

It seemed like a typical country diner, lots of regulars shooting the breeze and a homey, friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food I received ranged from mediocre to inedible. The chicken strips and the fries were overdone and tasteless. I ordered the cottage cheese for the side and it tasted like it had gone bad.
