JC Mickelson's Restaurant
Reviews

This place is absolutely underrated. Amazing food every time I come through. Friendly staff, generous portions, and there's a sweet model train making loops through the entire restaurant. Makes a great halfway stop when blasting between St George and Salt Lake.

I have given this establishment 20 years to improve and the only thing they've improved on is the decor in which my son's love the electric trains, however the menu is absolutely horrid! I swear EVERYTHING on the menu is from a frozen bag. Nothing tastes original or homemade. I will not return unless they prioritize their food as something to change immediately. The menu is outdated and tastes bland. They could use restaurant impossible to re-create their menu and quality.

Great stop on the way home. We stopped in here at about 9:00 PM on the way home from Nevada a few nights ago. They were open, thank goodness! It was very quiet, as we were the only customers there. But they had three employees, that we saw. Service was fast, and the environment was great. They have some really cool trains running all over the restaurant. We ordered all you can eat soup, scones, and salad (for about $8 or so per person). It was warm, fast, and very convenient. Highly recommend.

Utah food at it's finest, which is to say bland as all hell. We had a burger with onion rings and the country fried steak. All of it was just frozen crap reheated for our order. The onion rings are like eating a dinner roll.

I had the all you can eat soup, salad and scone. The food was very good and the waitress very nice. The decor was actually cool to see. You should eat here at least once.
