I spent four days in Monticello doing some hiking in Canyonlands. I had two lunches and two breakfasts here and was impressed with the quality of the food and service. It's a small place and some of the staff is inexperienced, so things get behind if they are busy. However, they were apologetic when I waited for a bit and gave me a discount. Good food, nice people, what more do you want?
We stopped for lunch here on our way to moab. I got the hummus wrap which was very tasty. My husband got the ham croissant which he liked as well. The loganberry smoothie was one of the best I've ever had. Maybe it was the flavor or something, but it was soooo good. Prices seemed a little bit more than what I want to pay for lunch, most items were 8 dollars, BUT they do probably have to get their stuff fresh in moab or something every day and considering this is a dinky place with fresh food, it was worth to pay a little more.
Fantastic strong coffee. Great food. Laid back atmosphere.
Nice breakfast!
Pancakes weren't that great but probably still best in town.
