My folks were here just a day or two ago. And they told me that the service and the food were very disappointing to say the least without getting mean about it. But it was even worse than disappointing. The service needs vastly improve as it is as I was told the only place to eat in Monticello which apparently has plenty of tourist passing through. It sounds like the only reason that this restaurant still sees any business is because it's one of the few places to eat in town and there's not may repeat business as again people are just passing through. Somebody call Robert Irvine I get this restaurant some TLC ASAP!!!
Food was good. Service was terrible. Never got my appetizer, waited over an hour for food and it was not very busy. Did not get a drink refill until after I was finished eating. The waitress was quite full of herself and more concerned about getting the tables with higher number of people. She was quick to place blame on others for the service.
This would be a 2star review, but this was our first meal back in civilization after 5 days mountain biking and primarily canned food. That made the cowboy burger taste a bit better and therefore the extra star. Otherwise a typical diner menu, below average food quality and on top of that, no alcohol is served, given that there is a church across the street. Welcome to Utah :)
Wow!!!! Great service!!!! Great food!!!! A five star place to eat!!!! Has a small home town feel!!! Everone must stop to enjoy!!!!
Food was horribly slow. 45 min. The last one served had a cup of soup. The waitress said it doesn't look very appetizing, but its really good. Who says that?
