I go here once a week for dollar burgers on Tuesdays. Two of the three ladies that I am usually served by are terrible. They're not friendly, they are terrible at checking for refills and are dead set on reminding me constantly that they close in an hour. The other morning I stopped in for breakfast. I ordered the breakfast special with biscuits. They brought out toast instead. I asked them if I could get biscuits, as it was what I ordered. The lady simply said "We're out of biscuits." and walked away. So... they're out of biscuits so I just get whatever they feel like giving me? Good food. So-so service.
Love their pies! Food is always fresh and delicious.
I don't understand how cigarette smoke and haze seems to not effect others meal reviews, we only took one step inside and our clothes reek of cigarette. We were looking forward to what others had mentioned below. Too bad.
Finally had a chance to go. Friendly staff, great "homemade" taste, the deserts are very delectable. Certainly worth the trip. They just celebrated 65 successful years in business. A Stephenville icon!
Awesome love the ladies that i see almost every tuesday for $1 burger night, one of the best places in texas! You know it's a good deal when your drink costs more than your meal.
