The food was bland. Husband had the pork fajitas.said they tasted like chicken. I had cheese enchiladas. Hard to go wrong with that. Mine were good. However, we usually determine a good mexican restaurant by the salsa initially. The salsa was bland and the chips were too greasy. The margarita was good...ait could have been a bit stronger for the price though.
PMR (Palacios Mexican Restaurant), as they call it locally, is a really good restaurant. Excellent, authentic food and very friendly and efficient waitstaff. Right in the heart of Palacios proper, PMR is a stone's throw from the seawall park and Pavilion pier areas. Beer and wine served. Very reasonable prices and hearty portions. A must try when in the area. About 1/2 mile south of SH 35 in Palacios.
You will love the great food and friendly hospitable waitstaff. Excellent sea food (mariscos)...
