Los Cucos is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The best to me is the one on Clay Rd, but we live in Katy now so we alternate between the one in Old Katy and this one at Katy Mills Mall Circle. Some things like the Sergito enchiladas are better at this location and others like the shrimp stuffed avocado are better at the old town katy location. So try them both to see which makes your favorites the best...or try the Clay Rd location as I think there food is just a bit better. Service is always good at Clay Rd...in Old Town Katy and katy mills locations, it is hit or miss...but old town has gotten pretty good lately!
The breakfast buffet is awesome! A wide variety of choices for the family. Staff is super friendly. An overall great experience and for those who are fans of Mexican music.. you'll love their playlist! We'll definitely be back to this location.
The food was good. We ordered various dishes of quesadillas, enchiladas, appetizers and burritos. The portions were large and we ended up taking a lot of it home. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very open and inviting. It just makes you want to have a seat and stay a while. The service was excellent. We were promptly greeted at the door and seated within a couple of minutes. All the wait staff was friendly and attentive.

If you like mexican food, this place is for you! It is kind of a step up from a traditional taqueria but a step down from say.. la finca. They have cheap prices and really good food. All their tortillas are home made and are so yummy!! The reason i am giving it only a 3 star rating is because of the noise and i didnt like the seating. You are sitting so close to the table next to you, its hard to not feel like you are part of their conversation. Based on food alone though, this place is top notch! We shared their large family style fajitas, and it was the perfect amount for the 3 of us. The fajitas were probably the best we have had in a really long time! Next time we go, I'd like to try the stuffed avocado since i hear such great things about that from all my friends!
