The shrimp pasta was flavorless and simply disgusting to my taste buds. I sent it back and got the jambalaya. It had more flavor but was not true jambalaya. They would have done better getting Zataran's and adding sausage and shrimp. The waitresses were nice courteous and apologetic.

This place was cool. In an old gas station I think. If a laid back place with out a waiter jumping on you with a menu and shoving drinks on you isn't you, you probably should go somewhere else. We loved it. Owner and bartender were great, food was great, and the tables outside were great. The menu is written on the wall, and when I asked our waitress what a "basket" consisted of and she told me she couldn't tell me because she really didn't work there, I had to laugh. The Texas BBQ shrimp was spicy and great. Served with a creamy spinach and some sort of tomato deal with a sauce on it that was great. Everyone's food was great, and that was 12 people. And the variety of dark and light beers on tap were good and cold. I'll go back for sure.

Gator tails and cod fish were both AMAZING! Also sell catfish, frog legs, and a variety of seafoods and fish. Really really delicious!

Catfish is great. The calamari was meh. The listed hours are incorrect.

Walked in the door with my family of four. A few stares from the people already there, including the bartender. No signs indicating as to seat yourself, or wait to be seated. After about a minute, we just picked a table and sat down. We waited and wondered if we were supposed to place our order at the bar, or if there were servers. We did see a man bring some food to another table, he looked our way but said nothing. Just about the time we were going to get up and leave, the man we saw approached our table. The menu is written on a dry erase board, which we had no problem with. The prices were about what you'd expect for seafood, until you see the size of the portions. That picture posted above is $11 bucks or more. We had a gator tail, two catfish, and one boiled shrimp, and we had to order extra fries with the shrimp. We all had water, which yes, he did charge 25 cents a cup for. I don't have a problem with that because cups, lids and straws do cost money. Our bill was $55 bucks without tip, and we left hungry. Portions are small. The place could use some pointers on customer service. I would think a place depending on repeat business would be more eager to make their customers feel welcome and comfortable. The food, however, was good. The roumalade sauce was excellent, with just the right amount of spice to give it a great flavor. No salad options, only cole slaw. So, if you're not on a budget, and read this so that you know what to do once you walk in the door, it shouldn't be such a bad experience.
