9:36 AM on Sat., Oct. 8, 2011 | Permalink Eight people were shot in a Far Northeast Dallas nightclub early Saturday morning after two street gangs squared off during a "rap off" contest, police said. The confrontation occurred about 2:30 a.m. at the Rolls Royce club in the 9200 block of Skillman Street near the intersection of Audelia Road northeast of LBJ Freeway. Police said that during the rap contest, two members of one of the gangs pulled out guns and "began shooting." The victims ranged from critical to fair condition at Baylor Medical Center in Garland and Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, authorities said.
