Baboush

I went to Baboush on a Sunday for brunch. They offer $1 mimosas, and the dolmas are so good. I had a steak and egg dish, which I forgot the name of. The steak was delicious. Looking forward to returning again soon!
Baboush has it right. Every person that we encountered on the wait staff was amazing, helpful, and just delightful! The food is exquisite as well. My partner and I split grilled lamb kabobs, grilled kofta kabobs, pomegranate tabouleh, hummus and pita bread, and finished it off with the baklava! We were hungry and everything was so good! One of the gentlemen brought us Moroccan Tea to finish our meal and did not charge us for it! It was a lovely sign of hospitality. The decor was just right, not too gaudy, and provided a comfortable atmosphere. The belly dancer was fantastic as well. She even spoke with us while she was dancing! We will definitely be back, and with all our friends as well!
Baboush is just below my apartment on City Place West and they nearly always have a lively crowd - friendly people relaxing indoors and out with great Mediterranean food, drinks or a hookah. The service is truly exceptional. Folks like Bilal make you feel like you're their single most important customer ever... every time! the food is excellent. They have a good sampler of dips (hummus, baba ghanoush, tzatziki sause, etc) served with Pita, kabobs, dolmades, and a wide variety of other mediterranean foods - all quite excellent. I'm also a huge fan of their Hendricks & Lime juice signature cocktail (with fresh mint!). Yummy on a warm summer's night. If you haven't been by, give it a try! You won't be disappointed!!
The food, the service, the wine, and atmosphere where all excellent. I highly recommend it. I had the lamb chops and sampled much of what the table had. It was all original and well done.
