This place was probably amazing twenty years ago. It is apparent there is a lack of good management. The waitresses run around at a frantic pace to serve food and bus tables while arguing with the cooks which are out in the open. The waitress I got stuck with several times is definitely burned out from her job. Not very friendly and obviously frustrated with her job. For some reason they don't have bus boys but have one very friendly lady tending to the best salad bar in Dalhart. If you stick to the salad bar you won't be disappointed. Order a steak and you'll be putting on A1 to add flavor to a mediocre steak with no seasoning.
Excellent food
The only good thing now is the salad bar....you take a gamble when you order off the menu....guess by looking at the other reviews it used to be better 2 or 4 years ago now it is not consistent.
I have stopped through several times and have always had a good experience. The food is good and the portion size is large. It's a good value and a good place to take a break.
Good food and value. One can tell its a local favorite.
