Chili's

Bay City.. I went in and sat by the bar in a booth. They took a while to get to me. After a wait I finally got my drink. Hot day so it went fast, big mistake now I had to wait a while again for a waitress to even notice I needed a refill. While I stared at the pitcher of tea and almost pouring my own she finally came. Food wasn't that great either. But when it was time to pay she made sure I knew how to input my tip! I felt like they should have payed me to eat there.

Bay City, Texas, Chili's: This was my second worst experience at a Chili's restaurant (I've been to a lot over the years). I arrived after a long brutal pavement-pounding trip from Dallas via San Antonio. I was seated in the general dining area, and then sat there, and sat there, and sat there. After six (6) minutes without a waiter/waitress to take my drink order, I decided to move to the bar area hoping I would be noticed and get something to quench my thirst. I accepted the sticky tables and sticky booth seat, if only it meant liquid. The kid that was pouring bar drinks and waiting tables finally showed up. I ordered steak fajitas, cadillac style. THIRTY (30) MINUTES later I was about to call for the manager when my food finally showed up. There did not seem to be the team effort or team attitude I see at so many Chili's, which is rather sad. It's a poor reflection of management. The twenty-somethings working there seemed to be more interested in goofing off and texting than customer satisfaction. Never again will I darken their doors!

Not as good as other chilies. Always a wait
