I started going here regularly,and slowly started to dislike it.The owner overcharges for BYOB, shisha quality stopped being good when he changed brands,and he does NOT card everyone,I end up being surrounded by teenagers hiding behind each other and can hear them worrying.Hearing the owner yell at his employees is kind of uncomfortable. I go to Forte off Pleasant Valley instead,great shisha,free ice hose,free bubbles.cheap BYOB,and 10$ hookah happy hour 2 til 7.And unlike OTH,the employees actually have KNOWLEDGE of all the products they sell to you.All that plus better customer service, I will not be going back to Off The Hookah.
The overall vibe of the place is pretty chill. Nice decorations and plenty of place to sit. As far as the staff goes most of them are very nice. Every so often I will go and there will be someone working who I have to literally beg to give us another coal. The hookahs and equipment they use are nothing special... I've had a few ice hoses completely fall apart while using them. The owner has a terrible attitude.. The first time I went he lost my friends ID along with the tab. We came back 3 days later asking if he had found it and he accused us of ditching on our tab. Went here pretty often for a month or two and finally got fed up with the place and haven't gone back since.
I personally love this place. I've been here a few times, and there's never anything particularly flashy about it, just a good place to sit down, and chill with a few good friends. It's simple, and cheap. For 8 dollars a round, I prefer this lounge over flashy, loud ones.
