Over priced food, for not so great food. My wife and I did not particularly care for anything that we ordered. I would say it is a fun place for kids to have a unique time.
I was horribly treated by a manager when I was last there. The marinara put me off marinara for a long time. The food can be tasty, but it is overpriced.
Basically this place is a turd painted in gold and diamond dust... Might look pretty but is still a turd... Food is way over priced, the sticker shock hits when bill is on table… And the Food is not that good either... You have to pay for the birthday cake they give you. If it is your birthday. But if you want the free cup cake they make you pay for that as well just hidden in other cost...The person they had working for them as Cha Cha before July 5th was the busboy and a few others where the wait staff or retail staff.. But when they got finished playing him they would not be able to shower or anything and then they had to go back to work all smelly and sweaty. Toweled off because there is a shower but it is reserved for just the habitat the guy who dives into the fish tank like once every month.. So think about that people touching your food and all the T-shirts and toys and things in the store and everything who are not that clean from sweating in a costume. They also are a horrible place to work making you work during breaks, make you pay for your own discount program, make you pay for OBAMA care, pay you less money then you made in other jobs make you buy shoes that cost $30 plus.. You would not have a pay check by the time you get finished paying for all they give you (((COUGH)))after taxes and all... They lie to you when you get hired telling you the job you are being hired for then treat you like you are not a person. Very unprofessional. I would advise you take your kids to an other place and spend your money else where... I worked for them as Cha Cha Starting on July 5th 2014 until July 17th 2014 I am a professional actor not rich or famous but I have IMDB credits was making like $25-$50 an hour for a mascot company before I took the job thinking well I could pay some bills. Because the jobs ran out.(life happens). They brought me in to work for them. Paid me $9 an hour I was told you would get $10 if you had experience I would have settled for that I do have bills.. But didn't let me take breaks made me work on them opening the little toys your kids touch with my sweaty hands I could not wash because I could not go to the bathroom with the costume on...... Didn't give me the hours they told me I was going to get when hired. Told me I was the heart of the place and going to be their spokes person and all these lovely lies... It is amazing anyone would want to work for them or eat there... Honestly I am surprised they are not shut down... By the time I would get my pay check I would have nothing to live on after paying tax, Obama care, Their discount program and not getting hours.. less than 26 hours in two weeks??? The place still has a huge hole in the wall from the flood where the animals where because they could not replace them. They lost their company car in the flood as well telling the staff if they are working events they have to use their own cars meaning they could travel up to 200 miles away 400 round trip and that they would give them mileage or trip money and they never see that trust me... They owe one person about $700 or more... And they did get that money in insurance for that truck they lost just never replaced it. This place is not just a joke but a serious reason to start liking fast food and going to Mc Donald’s....
1. We got the mozzarella sticks for our appetizer and could tell that they were frozen and the marinara was not the best. 2. The four of us each got something different for our meal. My sister got the seafood special they were offering; I got a chicken sandwich and fries; my other sister got a grilled chicken salad; and my husband got a burger and fries. None of us were crazy about our food. 3. Service was great! The manager even stopped by our table to make sure we were satisfied. 4. We REALLY got upset when we saw our check. I paid for my husband and myself which, with tip, ended up being $54 for two drinks, a chicken sandwich, burger, and fries. My sister paid for herself and our little sister and they ended up paying the same thing for two drinks, the seafood special and the grilled chicken salad. RIDICULOUS!!!! 5. The atmosphere was ok, but I was actually expecting a little bit better. The animals are animated every 10-15 minutes and there is a thunderstorm every 30 minutes. This is neat; however, they do use strobes, the lights turn on and off which might affect someone that has epilepsy.
Food was good but very pricey compared to a standard restaurant that is not themed. If you have kids to entertain this is the place. The decor is awesome. Cost $42 for lunch for two.
