McNamara's Irish Pub and Restaurant
Reviews
I just want to say I really enjoyed the place. Not something I would necessarily call family friendly but definitely an enjoyable establishment. My wife and really enjoyed our food. We had Scotch Eggs to start with, and for main courses she had the Classic Reuben and I had the Chicken Curry. We both found our meals to be wonderful, the portions generous for the cost of the dish, the only thing keeping us from giving it a full 5-stars is the length of time we went between drink refills. We understand it was very busy that evening (30 January 2015) but I feel as if they didn't have enough wait staff on hand for the crowd. Still, the staff was friendly and the food absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be returning for that alone in the future.
I love all the Irish classics here: Corned beef & cabbage, shepherds pie, and Guinness pie are my favorites. Atmosphere is top notch, especially in the music room. The music is excellent, and its a very family friendly atmosphere on most nights. Highly recommend.
This place is amazing! Excelent atmosphere, service, music, and guiness! whats not to love. One tiny detail is that the shepards pie is not made of lamb. If they ever fix it they will get the full 5 stars from me.
Went last night and really enjoyed it. I loved Sean's version of "He Went to Paris", which is one of my favorite songs. His, "Waltzing Matilda" is another favorite. As for the food, the fish and chips was fantastic and last night, I had the corned beef and cabbage, which was delicious. The atmosphere, food, service (Victoria was great) and decor is top notch. Thanks for another really nice experience at this place!
Outstanding atmosphere and wonderful food. I will definitely come back!!!
