The food and service are consistently good. I especially enjoy the steak sandwich and salmon Caesar. Grateful to have this as a dining choice in Hohenwald.
We had heard good things about The Junkyard Dog from locals and tourists so Sun. June 24 we dropped by for lunch . Standing room only ! But the wait was worth it . We were seated promptly and our Server Taylor was superb in her attention to our needs. She and all the other servers were calm ,competent, and very professional. The food was fantastic . Fresh salads ,generous portions and my rare steak was PERFECT. Excellent flavor . My husband had the Blackened Tilapia which was well seasoned and cooked exactly right. Thank You Taylor and The Junkyard Dog for a wonderful meal! Oh Yes we LOVED the Decor as well lots of neat stuff in there.
tonight was the 1st time I have eaten there. It was a great experience. Great ribs. I very nice family place. Lots of history in a small town. It should be put on your summer bucket list.
