My family and I ate at Breece's Cafe in last spring. The food was down home country cooking that would rival your granny's. It was delicious and service was given with a smile. I ordered fried chicken of the white meat variety. The waitress came back to inform me they were all out of breasts but had pulley bones!( a cut from the top of the breast that includes the wish bone). I had not heard this term since I was a child in my grandmother's kitchen, growing up just outside Birmingham, Alabama. I agreed to the pulley bones and they were a treat. We will eat there again if we ever get back that way.
Right on the square. Having "cafe" in the name, I was expecting grilled sandwiches, etc. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they have daily specials which is a meat and four vegetables for $5.79. The meats change daily it seems but there are usually 3-4 to choose from. Good friendly service too. They open at 6 for breakfast too. Good place.
Very good food and cheap and fast service!
