The smoked dry rub wings are good. Doubt that Charlie Vargas is worrying about a threat from the east though. There is an inordinate amount of pride in the overly sweet tomato based sauce. They will persistently glop it on to all meat orders. Even when request is 'all sauce on the side'. Don't know if this is a sense of mission or just sloppy communication. Sarge Jackson, a legendary Knoxville bbq master who was featured in the magazine Southern Living, would not have stood for it.

terrible food. potato salad was gritty mushy mustard. meat dry no flavor. beans lacked any "baked bean" flavor. couldn't find anything tasteful...
