*Personal review as a customer: Better than MOST of the Wal-Marts I've ever been to (and I came up here from the Chattanooga/N. Georgia area, so there's probably close to 100 down that way). Rarely over-crowded, friendly associates, not an overly huge selection or anything but let's think real here: it's Ashland City. *Personal opinion from the OTHER side of the fence: Anyone complaining about the employees there, you've most likely had a bad experience with A COUPLE of the associates and are now lopping them all together. SOME of them actually do care and take time and try their best to make sure YOU leave satisfied... Like me, for example, or the other 10-15 people I can name straight off the top of my head, who I know for a fact bust their butts for customers ALL DAY EVERY DAY. How do I know this? I work there. I'm in there for most of the day 5+ days a week and I see what you all don't. No, we are not perfect by any means, and I'm sure that not every single person in there couldn't stand to improve, but for the most part, we work hard and we TRY. I'm sorry if anyone reading this has had a bad experience, but I think going to the extreme of "they should shut down so all the stupid employees lose their jobs" is a *liiiittle* much... A lot of us are young, single parents, and we most certainly DO NOT deserve to lose our jobs, and we definitely aren't stupid either. The Wal-Mart stereotype you are placing on the ENTIRE staff, however, is. Personally I see that as pure ignorance, and I believe that before you start throwing out your obnoxiously ignorant opinions and name-calling, you should stop and think about what you're saying, who EXACTLY it actually applies to, and how you're making yourself sound. I guarantee that if you had to do what we do and deal with what we deal with for 8+ hours every single day, you wouldn't even last a week, but you sure would understand the things we go through on a daily basis and might end up changing your tune a little. None of this was meant to come off as rude, but not many people understand that when they're saying and posting these (hateful) things on public forums, they really have no idea what they're talking about, and we have to put up with waaaay more than you ever will while in that store, and we don't get to just go home afterwards. We have to stay and do it all again 10 more times that day. And the next. And the next.

My boyfriend and I called this Ashland City wal-mart from another wal-mart on Charlotte pike to see if they had a specific computer we were looking for. We spoke with the manager who informed us that she had an empty box but no computer in it so she was going to check in the back to see if she could find any. We were trying to make sure that they were going to have it before we took the long drive. She assured us that the computer said the store had 3 laptops showing up for that location. So we drove there and went to the electronics department and were told THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY! so we spent about an hour and a half of drive time, gas money/ dealing with the manager in wal-mart. They had horrible service, and were very unapologetic, rude, and inconsiderate. We were lied to, probably due to their laziness of not really looking to see if they had the computer. We even asked them to double check because we were making a long drive if they did have it and they still couldn't have cared less. I will never shop there for anything, nor would I advise anyone who enjoys CUSTOMER SERVICE to shop there either. If they run out of business maybe they will close and the stupid people who work there will be out a job.
