Wonderful service and amazing food. I've come through Kadoka many times and the service is consistently good. I've gotten to know some of the staff and the owner and I must say they do a fantastic job!
It was on a lot that had once also operated a gas station. We knew that because the islands & the pump attachments were still there. Upon opening the door, we were fronted by the smell of olllllld freon that we used to smell decades ago if you went shopping for a fridge & once you opened it's doors. The place was run by an olllllllld lady. It was fairly clean but that's about the only positive going for it. Although she had a few people working at the back(in the kitchen?) for her, everything tasted frozen! And the prices? NOT cheap! One would think that a s^&%y restaurant in a town of nothing with horrible food, would charge so little that you could say, well at least I didn't pay much for it. Follow me as I post my honest reviews.
Great! Great people! The waitress, the owner, and the customers were all super friendly. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but is nice, clean, and surprisingly roomy inside! And! And! And! For an added bonus to our experience, the food was delicious and served quickly!
Yes looks like an abandon building with a open sign! But OMG please go inside and I suggest the chicken fried steak...its to die for! Bathroom is huge and just wonderful all around
We were looking for a place to stop on the way back from rapid city and this place looked like it might work from the reviews. They were open at 8 am on a Sunday morning and there were only two tables open. Prices and portions were reasonable and the waitress made us feel like grandma was fussing over us. The food came quickly and was excellent. We are going to make a point of stopping here again on out next trip to the hills!
