The crappy service ruined it for me. We waited so long to be greeted I had to go to the bar to ask for service. The food was fine but we didn't get our drinks until the food came out. Then I had to go back up to ask for napkins and the side of mayo I requested. The other waitress working, who smiled at me while we were seated but didn't greet us, got the mayo for me but I clearly interrupted her lunch because she had sauce on her face. I finished my beer half way thru my sandwich but since our waitress never checked on us I couldn't get another until she cleared our table. I declined that one because I just wanted to leave. Had to go back up to the bar to get cashed out because we waited so long after she dropped our bill off. If I managed this bar both waitresses there today would be fired.
Excellent service, we had our two little girls with us, 5 and under, and they were very accommodating and friendly. The waitress let the girls play with the bean bag toss while we waited for food. It was perfect after been cooped up in the car for the last 5 hours (on our way to Rapid from Denver). The food was good, I had the pregnant lady special and the girls shared some tasty chicken fingers and fries. It's in a historical building which makes for a fun ambiance. We had the place to ourselves around 5pm, during the holiday break.
Excellent food...four of us all got different things and *everything* was really good! Reasonable prices and friendly service.
Excellent food! Pickle chips were well worth the extra buck. Very small crowd on a Thursday during the noon hour. This is the best place to eat in Hot Springs. Even our kids (1 and 2 years old) were welcome.
The food was amazing and the employees were awesome! Good music as well and nice atmosphere. Classy unlike many other bars.
