Generally the food is good, especially breakfasts. But one time my food arrived cold and the links overcooked. The almost toothless waitress deducted $1.00 after several complaints that my food was cold! I spoke to the owner, Dale, and he grunted and did nothing-and I go in there often! (At least I did).
Good food, reasonable prices (these days, at least.) I've never had a bad meal there. Sometimes crowded, occasionally a wait to be seated.
Great example of a small town friendly restaurant. Food was very good, service was excellent, and of course everything in the decor was for sale. The owner himself rang us up several times while we vacationed, and we made a point of being there every morning for breakfast. The locals will happily chat with you while enjoying a coffee.
The cod was excellent. The service was friendly. The overall feel of the place was cozy, if not a bit crowded, but it was the best restaurant we ate at in town!
The prices are alright, but everytime I used to eat here I'd get sick. Just last week I was forced to eat there so I ordered something small. It came out caked in grease. That's gross! I'm glad smoking isn't allowed in public anymore as this place used to stink horribly!! The waitress I had recently didn't seem like she knew what customer service was. Over the years, it's definitely gotten more crammed with all the tourist knick knacks.
