Growing up in southern California I have very high standards for Mexican food. That being said, since I have moved to the south I have had to accept the fact that I will not find all that many good “Authentic” Mexican restaurants. Papa's and Beer is by far the best Mexican place I have found in this area, and they bring back memories of my young adult life with authentic preparation of their dishes and a wonderful welcoming ambiance. The staff was friendly and efficient. In affect they have ruined all other Mexican places I have been to locally, and I will be happy to come back here anytime I am craving a carne asada chimichanga.

We love the ambiance of the Simpsonville Restaurant. The whole staff is great! They know us when we walk in and are always very friendly and timely. It is a small but cozy atmosphere and that is what we like about it. The food is great! We are super happy that they are here in Simpsonville! The same restaurant in Greenville just doesn't cut it for us. The last time we went there, the service was aweful and the food was very disappointing!! We will stick with Simpsonville.

Lightning fast service...fresh food...small place, you will wait, but totally worth it...Mexico City tacos and table side guacamole are just about perfect!

Best authentic food in simpsonvile/greenville !!!Everyone was so friendly PRICES are awesome for the portions!!! i ordered their fresh tableside guacamole,i had some left over so i decided to take some home to my husband, ordered extra chips to go&was NOT charged. THIS IS JUST THE RIGHT KIND OF MEXICAN FOOD GREENVILLE NEEDS!!!

If you enjoy being incorrectlly charged with the manager telling you that they don't care about your business then you are in the right tiny little hole in the wall. I eat mexican food more than anyone you have ever met and anyone who knows me can vouch for that. This restaurant charges more for everything on the menu and has the worst management of any restaurant in Greenville. Like beer? Their 32 oz. blue moon ($6.99) is more than anywhere in Greenville and more than double the price of their 16 oz.??? How does that make any sense?? They also charge for chips if you don't order enough of their over priced food(The only mexican place in Greenville pulling that one). Try any other mexican restaurant in Greenville/Simpsonville for a better experience, better service, and better prices!
