We have been several times this past year and had another wonderful experience tonight; the food was excellent, hot and tasty; the ingredients obviously fresh and of high quality. The service was attentive and experienced; it was a busy Saturday night, and there were staff bringing out the food right after the chefs finished with it, to help the waiters and waitresses.

Although the food was very good and the location is lovely, the service was not. The appetizer and salad came out together. After finishing the appetizer and just starting the salad, the server informed us that the entrée was complete and, since it was cooked early, should she bring it or have it held in the kitchen? What? So it could get cold? So...if you want fast food, by all means go to the Wharf Tavern. You can have a drink, appetizer, salad, and entrée and still be out in less than one hour!

Restaurant right on the water, great seafood, it's not the cheapest place, but the quality makes it worth the money.

I recently had my wedding reception in the upstairs banquet room at The Wharf Tavern in Warren Rhode Island. From beginning to end, the staff- including banquet manager Gail- was friendly, experienced and enthusiastic to make this day beautiful for us! Gail was extremely knowledgeable and helped me make decisions based on what I was looking to spend. I've always wanted a wedding on the water, but couldn't find the right place. When we saw the Wharf Tavern and its superb location, we were hooked. The price was unbeatable - the food was good, no complaints from anyone. The meal included salad, hot dinner rolls, protein, potato, veggie, dessert, coffee or tea ... really great for the price. It was said to include soft drinks but my entire party including my open beer & wine bar was charged for soda. Before the event, Gail allowed my wedding planners and I to come in and do multiple walk thrus and load our decorations in the day before and store everything. We went over the meals, head counts, time line of events - Gail was more organized than expected considering the amounts of events she coordinates. I'd also like to make a note that not ONCE from the time I first spoke with her until the day of the wedding did she forget who I was... when I called and spoke with her on the phone, she knew me by name, date, time of event.... it was really comforting to know that no matter how many people she talked to, she always remembered who I was. We started the night off with a beer & wine open bar for 1 hour at an extremely reasonable price. We chose the cheese & crackers for the hour and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful spread, which included fruit too. My guests were overwhelmed by the view and spent dusk outside on the upper deck taking photographs. After a very timely dinner was served, we danced the night away! The bartenders, staff and Gail were beyond kind and all seemed very happy and friendly. The drinks were great, the location was something I could only dream of and overall it was a perfect night!!!! If you're considering having a party and want a location that EVERYONE will talk about, head over to the Wharf Tavern ... it was the first of many parties we plan to have there!!

i recently ate at the warf tavern nov 4,2011 with three of my friends , the food we ordered was very good from apps to the meal . our service was prompt and pleasent ! after our meal we went to the bar and had some drinks the bartender was exelent , we have been back almost every week awsome job i recomend the warf !
