This is a great little place to eat. I was meeting family and Somerset, PA was half way. Crazy Alice Cafe had great reviews so we decided to try it out. We stopped at a couple of places to do some business and asked about the cafe. They have a very good reputation in the town. We were not disappointed. Crazy Alice Cafe was a great meeting place. The wait staff was polite, kind, and service oriented. The food was very, very good. We ordered three italian stack sandwich, two almost phily cheese steak sandwich, and a crazy uptown chicken grilled sandwich. All the sandwiches were served on a toasted ciabatta roll. The ciabatta roll was very, very good. The sandwiches were very large and filling. All the meals were served with kettle cooked chips and pickles. There coffee was very, very good also. All the sandwiches were reasonably price at $9. We all agreed that this will be our regular meeting place off the PA turnpike. Thank you to the staff of the Crazy Alice Cafe for a good place to have a good sandwich with loved ones!
While taking a trip with some friends we came across this intimidate and wonderful cafe. It had a great atmosphere. The meal was fresh and didn't take long to arrive. I'm not an egg lover, but I tried some of my friend's omelet and I think it converted me. It was tasty. We had some laughs and good food. The customers were friendly and the staff was pleasantly attentive. Seems like the place stays busy and everybody was having a good time. Those pancakes were yummy. I almost asked for the recipe. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll remember this place and I'm sure it'll still be going strong.
From Cincinnati. Had our son's rehearsal dinner here. Awesome food and service. Many compliments on the prime rib and salmon. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful dining room (diamond room). Kudos to the chef.and servers.
