Decor is very dated and lighting dismal. Prices were too high for the quality of food we received. Most everything seemed canned or frozen. Since it's the only restaurant around, it seems they can ask whatever price they want. Could use a visit from Robert Irvine...
We've dined here twice and won't go back. The service here is very good for the regulars, and not so good if you're not recognized. The food is anything but inspiring. The prices do not coincide with the quality of the food. This establishment seriously needs a new chef. However, Pennsylvanians don't like change and this restaurant epitomizes it.
My husband and I just ate there, first time in many years. I had the 12ounce prime rib, which I guess was a mistake as in order to just have 12 oz. it was only about 1/2 inch thick, so turned out to be a bit chewy. My husband had the crab au gratin, advertised as "lump crab imperial in a cheese sauce." There was no lump crabmeat, it was all the stringy crab you get from the claws. plus some shells. We had a $5 off coupon, maybe you don't get the quality you should when you get a discount. Stuffed baked potato was dry. Baked potato was very good and the salad bar was nice and fresh. Soups delicious as was the bread.
This place is great. Wonderful view, awesome food at a good price.
