Domenico's Ristorante

Upon entering the restaurant the waitress wanted our group of 9 to sit together. We wanted to let our 16yr old kids and cousins hang together at a table next to ours. The restaurant was very loud and COLD. The waitress even commented it was 52 degrees and her feet were frozen. We had to eat with our coats on. My mother had a hard time hearing because of the background noise. Our meal was OK. I had a sandwich and burnt homemade greesey chips. The waitress never came over to see if our meal was ok or if we needed anything once we were served. My mothers water for her hot tea was warm and waitress wasn't willing to fix. At the end, she handed me the entire check and hand wrote her own tip in...20% of the total including the tax. I questioned why I had to tip on the tax and she adjusted her hand written amount to not be tipped on the tax too. This is the second time I have received bad service. With all the other choices in Cranberry Twp...Monte Cello right down the road has better service and food. I won't go back or recommend Dominico's to anyone! Aladdins, Houlihans & Deck House to name a few are close and local. Luciano's and Springfield Grill will give you nice atmosphere and quality food and service.
Absolutely garbage. Terrible service. Took an hour to place our order. Probably not all the servers fault, and had something to do with the lack of management. Nothing came out correct. The manager is a pompous ass that can't take criticism about his restaurants horrible food. The cooks did a fly by the table to be sure that we heard them scoff in protest that we didn't like one of said awful dishes. One kid ordered chicken tenders, got fish. Seriously...fish. Also, they have an outdated point of sale that can't split checks with more than six people, yet it has no issue applying an automatic 20% gratuity. This place is overrated and should NOT be considered if you're looking for a place to eat in Cranberry.
There is no shortage of Italian restaurants in this town. However this restaurant seems to be a break away from the chain Italian joints. They do a good job of using what seems to be authentic sauces and homemade dishes. They have a good choice between fried foods and the more traditional pastas. Their meat selection is decent and they have a good grill. The bar is fantastic it's set away from the dining area get seems to be a popular spot for local's. They have a back room which seems to be used for receptions live music and other entertainment. The kitchen is viewable from the outside which I always enjoy. This usually means that they are using clean cooking practices. Their pizza is woodfired and they have excellent bruschetta. If you're looking for a place to go for good Italian dish this is a good option. Monja.
Working just across the street, we always recommend to our patients to go there for quick Tuesday Buffet and the dinner main courses are great anytime.
had to click at least one star or I couldn't review.....took my family there yesterday at 5 or so....young lady, thin, black hair takes us to our table looking very irritated that we are there, not busy even though it's saturday after black friday.....she returns shortly thereafter to ask if we want to order drinks so I ask what is on draft, she hands me a hand written list of drafts that I cannot read due to the handwriting, I'm not blind and was born in america so I can read and write english pretty good for the past 40 years I've been alive.....so I say "can you read this?" and she replies "well yeah, I wrote it..." real snotty.....so I say "can you please read it to me?" and she acts like I'm a moron and proceeds to point at each entry and reads it to me like I'm 2 years old......OK.....my wife says we need a few minutes and when she walks away, so do we.... not sure what her problem was but I wasn't about to spend my money and go through a meal with a waitress with such a bad attitude....first time and last time I'll go there, I hear the food is good but I guess I won't find out....
