VERY EXPENSIVE!!! Will suffice if you are in a pinch but be prepared to PAY! I was in there today to purchase some Hi Ratio Shortening, which I paid $8 for a tub last year. The shortening was marked $9.99 , but after I was rang up, the owner said, "It rang up $11.99 because there was a price increase and I haven't had a chance to change it." Even if you have to pay shipping it is cheaper to order specialty items online. A 5 lb tub of fondant is $34 there and goes for $18 online.....a significant difference.
I'm highly disgusted with their customer service. I was recently on the website looking for a class to attend this weekend but didn't see anything classes listed. So I sent an E-mail to "Dan" asking if there were any classes available to attend this weekend since I did not see anything on the website. It doesn't hurt to ask does it? Anyway his response was "all classes are listed online." WOW sorry I took a second of your time Dan Hoffman! I will be sure to NOT give this place my business and I'll let my friends and family know about this as well.
The classes held here have been very enjoyable. The staff are very friendly, and the selection and atmosphere make it a welcoming place to shop. -- Tim
