P.J. Whelihan's Blue Bell
Reviews
Attention vegetarians or those seeking a healthier meal. Pjs has seen to eliminate the few options vegetarians had here. The portobello sandwich is gone, egg rolls, and eggplant fries. They replaced these "healthier" options with some tripple double burger and some cheese steak sandwich. Im surprised they didn't also add an oreo pizza to their menu. Suffice to say i will not be back as the only thing vegetarians can eat on their menu now is tater tots and a store bought veggie burger. No thanks
Large pub with multiple rooms and outside area. Lots of flat-screen TV in most areas with sports. Our family of four comes regularly to PJ's for dinner because food is quick and decent. Good beer selection. Usually crowded almost every evening - they have different events to draw in people.
I went there on Sunday. It was fairly crowded, so I assumed it would be good. Man, was I wrong. The staff was confused and slow. I actually thought they were partially asleep because I have never seen an awake person move so slowly. The food was scary. The frozen, thawed chicken wings were coated with BBQ sauce which I am certain they bought at the Giant across the street. The hamburger they served me was literally still frozen. The meatballs were 90% bread and 10% meat, however, I am certain they were bought at Costco so Whelihan cannot be held responsible for that. Needless to say I will only go back if someone puts a gun to my head.
There was about 10 of us and the service was fast and friendly and the food was amazing! The nachos were downright impressive!! We had a nice selection of entrees ordered and everyone was extremely pleased with their meal. Great evening out.
Waitress had a stick up her ass from the start. The wings weren't anything special. I won't be back.
