Have used the pharmacy services for several years. Great customer service and friendly staff. Will definitely recommend them.
I took a lottery ticket to be cashed to the Aliquippa Giant Eagle. I was told by a friend that the ticket was worth $290. The cashier, Trina, told me that the ticket was worth $190 and counted that amount out to me. When I spoke to my friend a few days later, he stated that the ticket was worth $290, and that Trian had given me incorrect information, but that the $100 I was shorted was probably still at the store. I contacted the managers at the store, and they confirmed that the lottery ticket was worth $290, but that there was no overage at the cashier's desk. They reviewed the store security tapes and could see Trina counting the money to me, but they stated they could not see the denomination of the bills. I told the management what the denomination of all the bills were, and I still have the money in my wallet. The managers did not state if they would review the entire tape to see if Trina took the other $100, but they curtly told me to "just go file a police report". I contacted the loss prevention department at the Giant Eagle corporate office, and was told that they would look into the matter. They have not returned any of my phone calls. I am taking legal action against the store, even if it costs more than the stolen $100, because of the principle of the issue. Trina should not have taken advantage of me and stolen the money from me.
